Expanded Partnership Provides More Texas Districts with In-State Support Center and Cost Benefits
State College, Pennsylvania, 13th May 2009 -- Schoolwires, one of the nation"s leading providers of strategic website and community management solutions for building stronger school communities, more effective schools and greater student success, announced today that it has expanded its partnership with Education Service Center (ESC) Region XI in Texas to provide certified hosting of the company"s solutions to more districts in the state.
For several years, ESC Region XI has been providing training, hosting and support for the CentricityTM, Synergy TM and Assist TM solutions from Schoolwires for the 77 districts and 35 charter schools in its service area. The new partnership allows ESC Region XI to provide the same support to almost all districts throughout the state.
The partnership gives districts throughout the state of Texas the option of having ESC Region XI or Schoolwires as their source for hosting, training and ongoing support. This gives districts the convenience and flexibility of receiving hosting, training and other support from a site located within the state at a reduced cost. Also, districts will likely save money on travel expenses by receiving their training at the Texas site.
ESC Region XI chose to expand its support of the Schoolwires solutions based on its positive experience with the products, said Shirley Van Vleck, Webmaster, Education Service Center Region XI. "We have been impressed with the features and capabilities of the products. We hope that by providing services locally, we will encourage more districts to consider the Schoolwires solutions and thus benefit from their potential to improve communications, enhance a district"s image and improve student performance."
Schoolwires provides K-12 districts with strategic website and community management solutions. The heart of the solution suite is Centricity, an all-in-one, user-centric solution that puts all district and school constituents on the same page. Unlike any other solution, Centricity enables collaboration, works hand-in-hand with digital file sharing, improves communications, enhances operational efficiency, and encourages broad adoption and participation by administrators, teachers, families and students. It is a hosted, on-demand solution designed to offer very high levels of security, performance and reliability. Synergy is a digital file sharing solution and Assist provides districts with a service request management solution.
"We are pleased that ESC Region XI has agreed to provide its quality hosting and services for our family of products beyond the boundaries of its immediate service area," said Edward S. Marflak, founder and CEO of Schoolwires. "ESC Region XI has been a reliable hosting and services provider for more than three years with its highly skilled staff who are knowledgeable about the Schoolwires solutions and are extremely focused on customer satisfaction."
