Our Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer Edward S. Marflak, established Schoolwires to fulfill a visionary goal: to connect the
100 million students families, teachers and administrators of America's K-12 schools to each other and to the information and services they
need to succeed and, in the process, transform the way America's
school communities communicate, collaborate and come together
around success.

His vision was grounded in humble beginnings. Ed was raised by
two professional educators who instilled within him the values of integrity, service, optimism and determination along with a belief in the power of education to help people reach their full potential.

After graduating in business from a state university, Ed began his path of leveraging online technology to meet the challenges of the 21st century. He worked at a technology practice that developed forward-looking online solutions for Fortune 500 companies, national associations and educational organization

At this time, Ed saw that new demands were intensifying the pressure on America's schools and that many of these challenges could likewise be addressed through a new generation of online solutions.

Ed also recognized that America's schools often have more modest IT budgets and staffing levels than their private sector counterparts and thus needed solutions that were affordable, easy to use and easy to manage. He created Schoolwires to provide seamless solutions to help schools meet their critical challenges with minimal IT support.
