E-Rate

Here you’ll find general information about E-Rate and learn what Schoolwires products and services are eligible for E-Rate funding.

Understanding E-Rate

The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, commonly known as "E-Rate," is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The program makes discounts available to eligible schools and libraries for telecommunication services, Internet access, and internal connections. This program is intended to ensure that schools and libraries have access to affordable telecommunications and information services.

We suggest you visit the official Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) website at www.usac.org for complete program details, guidelines and news. We urge you to understand and strictly comply with all guidelines furnished by the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund. We further urge you to directly contact the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund with your E-Rate-related questions.

For purpose of this E-Rate information, we have provided direct quotes from the Schools and Libraries Eligible Services List for Funding Year 2012 (hereafter referenced as the Eligible Services List or the "2012 ESL.") For questions please contact us at erate.team@schoolwires.com
